In this sensual poster print, the woman's pose is similar to some of the bent limbs of the cedar trees she lies under. The clothes she is wearing was modeled from a 1950's bathing suit with the added see-through skirt, painted in to add mystique to the image. The purple mountains in the foreground is reminiscent of the paintings of Maxfield Parrish who greatly inspired Sam's earlier works such as this one.
Beneath the Cedars is matted in-house in two standard sizes: 11" x 14" and 16" x 20" for quick and inexpensive framing.
